Jefferson City firefighters said three people were taken to hospital with inhalation and surface burns after Thursday’s acid spill at Lincoln University.

Firefighters say it happened just before 5 p.m. at the LU Small Animal Research Center, which had to be evacuated. The pet store remains closed this morning.
