SSS celebrates 63rd anniversary with “ ExpreSSS ” services – The Manila Times
To celebrate its 63rd founding anniversary on September 1, the Social Security System (SSS) is running online activities for a month through its Facebook page and YouTube channel, starting with the release of its anniversary video, followed by the launch of ExpreSSS, which is the highlight of the celebration.
With the theme “SSS @ 63: Respond to both through express services,” Aurora Ignacio, President and CEO of SSS, said that ExprreSSS offers enhanced SSS online services that aim to provide members , employers, retirees, beneficiaries and the public a simple, faster and more convenient means of recording, filing benefits and loans, and other transactions.
“ExpreSSS is the product of our continuous digital transformation efforts over the years, which is also aligned with the call of the Finance Secretary and Chairman of the Social Security Committee, Carlos Dominguez 3rd, to expand the use of technologies digital for the speedy delivery of our services, ”Ignacio mentioned.
She added that the initiative advances the SSS’s compliance with Republic Law No.11032 or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act 2018 and will help ensure continued delivery. and efficient SSS services in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.
SSS runs an information campaign on ExpreSSS services through a series of webinars that focus on online services such as loan and SS number requests, payment reference number generation, payment form submission employment report (R-1A), sickness notification, maternity and sickness notification. Other topics include online claims for unemployment, retirement and funerals; and online registration of disbursement accounts.
