Research projects should be encouraged by universities, says Rajasthan governor

Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra said universities should encourage research that fosters entrepreneurship among young people.

Universities should work on research projects that encourage youth entrepreneurship while using local resources, Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra said. Universities should think about how the country can reach the highest position in all fields, be it education, health, business, technology, industry, capital, labor or culture, he added, during the convocation ceremony of the University of Rajasthan.

He also called on the University of Rajasthan to make a globally unique identity in disseminating knowledge and innovations in research, according to a statement.

Relevance of research for university students

“The Governor emphasized preparing a practical way to preserve local culture in research. He spoke of developing such research culture in universities so that its benefits can reach the common man,” he said.

List of University of Rajasthan Convening Awards

DLitt was awarded to two students in physical education and one in philosophy.

Doctoral scholarships were awarded to 472 students in the fields of arts, business, social sciences, sciences, law, engineering and technology, management and fine arts.

Gold medals were awarded to 113 students with high marks.
